You ever seen a springer hold still for that long?
Gimme a 50 gallon bucket with holes in it first.

Default Tailer for Springers?

Anybody use a tailer for Salmon? Looks like it could work great for a lone fisherman in a small boat (Like me!). I've seen a couple around in stores but never in anyone's boat. They seem to be aimed more at Sturgeon. Are they hard on the fish? Any tips on thier use?

I think you would damage the slime layer and scales of a salmon with a tailer... much better to net.

I'd think the same thing 5 cents. But what about for the finless one's just before the blunt force trauma?
