Default Come all ye bankies/Edit & Report

Will be banking it in woodland from 9 to end of tide..around 4pm for springers.

I will be takeing the dike road off I-5 and heading west to the CR and then to the RV Park dirt road access and tossing spin-glo's and k-14's. Will be glassing 72 to see how the regulars are doing as well.
all are welcome to stop by and put a rod out! I have ifish sticker in rear window with FSHKLR logo underneath

Good luck. Thanks for the invite - can't make the Washington side. Not sure if I am going to get out this weekend - still working on a strategy.

Well the action was hot but the catching was not.
Turns out a lurker showed up and found me and together we went 0 for 4
Lots of boat traffic out there with several coming in early with fish

I was using spin-glo/prawn and the K-14 fickle pickle..lost it when my rig hung up on the bottom :depressed:

Jim..(lurker) used my prawn spinner with cork to float the rig and my other k-14 fickle pickle..he had 3 tremendous pound downs with one terrific double gainer in the sand while setting the hook but lost all three fish

Will give it another go tomorrow with my fishing gal Tina!! She's still looking for her first this yr and tomorrow looks very promising

Hey Fshklr,

How much lead are you having to throw to get it to stick?

Thanks,
Mike

I am fishing below a wing dam with heavy current in 8 to 12 feet of water...today was nearly a 9ft tide exchange and the rod tips were dancing from the kwikies..10oz's was the ticket I imagine a boat could get by with 4 or less depending on current.
with my 6 foot leader on the kwiks thet appear to be running just 3 feet below the surface.
