Default Camas Springers No anchor???

I have some friends of a friend bringing their sled down from up north. They are not equpiied to anchor in the Columbia. Any opportunited for trolling or backtrolling? Never seen anyone do anything but anchor up...

Tell them to drive a few miles to the mighty Willamette, launch at St. Johns and troll all they want. Although I'm not sure I'd want to be on the river without an anchor if my motors died. It's worth $100 to just buy one!

Sure you can.Back trolling is pretty much the same as anchoring your just covering more water. And on the incoming or slack tide lots of trolling to be done.
