Default towing rig - yours or the wife's?

while drifting the clackamas with FWF1, the subject came up about tow rigs. when i finally get a boat, my tow rig will actually be my wife's baby wagon, a ford explorer. how about you? who really owns your tow rig? c'mon now, be honest.

for all the ladies on the board, this question is sort of just for the guys. sorry, i don't mean to be sexist about it.

Mine on the weekends used to be hers on the weekdays. But then I put those big honkin' wheels and tires on it.

She made me buy her a 'Benz!

Now it's mine whenever I want it!

Since I have a company vehicle I really don't mind that she now calls the tow rig "her truck"

When we bought MY 1999 crew cab diesel the wife took care of the paperwork. She was concerned she has never really had a loan in her name and wanted to establish some credit for herself.

She put the loan in her name, and the title in my name.

I never complained about that set up. She didnt even realize what she did till it was to late and we had signed.

Well we have a set of Chevy's.

Hers: The little one is a 1500 extended cab w/3rd door. No, 4-WD This one has the 305 Small block engine. Used by the old man, to get to and from work.

Hers too:  I, have the 2500 Silverado, extended cab 2DR. 4X4 with the 454 big block engine. Overloads and air bags. Compressor, duel batteries. I carry the 10'11" Lance camper, and tow the boat.

I have the Texaco tanker truck following me everywhere I go. So, since I don't work, I get the big baby. I would rather drive the big truck. I don't feel I'm driving a low rider.

I only get to drive her rig on the weekend. I pay, title and insure it. She calls it hers.

Dodge 3/4 ton Cummins diesel. The wife wants nothing to do with driving it. My 3 year old daughter loves it because she can use the steps to climb in herself and she sets up real high between the split bench seat and can see everything. The only problem is that it cost me an arm and a leg to buy my wife a car she likes so I could get the truck I wanted. I guess this is marriage ?

2001 Chevy Suburban LT with the Vortex engine and autoride. My 3rd Suburban. This one is the best one I've had. The new technology is great. I drive the truck, my wife drives the car. She thinks the truck is too big.

The tow rig is mine. I have a 99 Chevrolet 3500 1 ton 4X4 with a crew cab. This one also hauls a 10 1/2 foot Lance Camper and pulls the boat at the same time. Like fishchaser this rig also has a 454 big block. You wiill also find me on the road being followed by a gasoline truck.

My wife is afraid to even get behind the wheel of this rig becuse she is afraid she will hit something.

The Wife owns it all, the 2000 F350 Powerstroke and the boat. She dose however allow me to do most of the driving while she sleeps in the back seat.
