I am out of here in an hour and heading to the Clearwater River in Idaho for 2 days of fishing. Going with a couple of buddies to pound salmon with a vengence. :grin:

I'll give a report when I return Friday. Until then have fun working your tails off.

HOPE THE RIVER IS FISHABLE. SLUTGODDESS WENT OVER THERE LAST WEEK. THE WATER WAS HIGH AN UNFISHABLE. HOPE IT IS OK NOW. THAT IS AN AWFUL LONG WAY TO GO FOR NOTHING.

Got this report from one of the guides web sites that fish the Clearwater "06/10/2002

Salmon fishing on the Clearwater has picked up again now that water levels have dropped down to fishable levels. The mainstem below Orofino is running at about 32,000 cubic in. Still high but fishable. Fishing over the weekend was very good for most fishermen. Sunday slowed a little but catches were still good. The North Fork has slowed a little but will pick up once the push of fish that are down in main river make there way up. Most likely in the next couple of days. The current rain we are having could muddy up the river so call ahead for conditions. This week will be peak of the season and the run could be over with by next week. The Lochsa river should remain good however through the end of June."

You can run but you can't hide C&E. I hope you catch a lot of fish on your trip :smile: .
When you come back you might be RED HOT some get back to Springer fishing right away.
