Default Malheur Res. and River

Heading over to the area this weekend, wanted to know where to fish and what flies to use while over there. I'm totally new to that area, any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Never fished there before.

But it sounds like dip netting is an option and it's a free for all. I wonder how a dipnet would work for trout?

I have fished on the Malheur river just out of Riverside. It was later in the year. I don't know but water might be high this early in summer. I was not fly fishing but caught some nice rainbows on sm spinners and thomas spoons. keep eyes peeled for buzzzzz tails
