Default Info on Cabelas rod and reel

I just got my new spring 04, catalog from cabelas, and saw a rod and reel Iam interested in , but thought I would ask you guys about it first,Its a cabelas depthmaster 2 reel and a depthmaster rod they call it tournament innerflow rods, both rod and reel sell for one hundred dollars, from past experience whenever cabelas puts their name on things its good stuff, anyways any info would be great.

Just received my new Cabela's "Salmon, Trout and Steelhead" catalog for 2004. You may want to look at it before making any decisions. This is more oriented towards us than midwest bass fishermen! Good luck!

I'm a firm believer in buying from an outfit that I can personally talk to or return the item if necessary. I'm sure it may be an OK deal but there are plenty of stores with even better ones.

Money better spent IMHO.

Cabelas has a great return policy, and customer service. Ask lots of questions and if you dont like to send it back for a full refund

Cabela's is about the only sporting goods company I would order from (mail order)......they have a satisfaction guarantee on all their name brand stuff and their customer service is great.

I have never had any problems with their stuff.
Always good on returns if you don't like it.
Heck I had a pair of the 99.00 Dry Plus waders that leaked after a year, called them and sent the waders back with a note. 50.00 refund towards a new purchase.
Used it to buy their 13' noodle rod for 69.00
Rod works great for what I need( 4 # line and a 1/16 jig c'mere summer chromer, hee-hee-hee)
