Nestucca Recon???

I'm camping this weekend at Cape Lookout and was thinking about doing alittle bank fishing for steelhead on the Nestucca. Anybody out there know a good spot or two this time of year. ppplllleeeaaasssee [img]graemlins/1zhelp.gif[/img]

There is a nice bank area at Three Rivers. There is a hatchery on Three Rivers that is apparently where most of the steelhead and springers are heading. There is a big tree sticking out of the water on the other side of the river from the bank where most people fish. When I floated through there with a guide last week, he spent alot of time around that tree -- said it was a good hole there.

I don't know how to get there by car, but it should be easy to find on a map. I would start from HWY 101 around Hebo. There is a boat ramp there too.
