Default What to do......time off

I have the 18th through the 30th of March off from work and was wondering what some good options for springer and steelhead fishing might be. I have never caught a springer or a chinook for that matter and could use a little advice. I have been paying attention to all the helpfull posts on techniques on Ifish but don't really know where or when to employ them. I have a 15' fiberglass runabout and can troll or anchor in the Columbia or the Willy. What would you do? Where would you go? Not looking for any secret holes just general locations and maybe what boat launch to start from. And if anyone needs company during that time I'm all for it. Maybe someone with some experience would show me around. My boat is not pretty but she floats and the engine runs.....Any and all help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Luke

Hi Fish-Addict!

Since your from Salem & the fish are mostly down river at this point in time, if i were you I'd park that 15' boat at the mouth of the multnomah channel. launch from St. Helens & just look for boats. You'll likely see boats with ifish stickers too.

Just like all the other posts..... K15 on outgoing, troll herring slack/incomming.

Good luck!
