New use for the dishwasher!
I’ve found a new use for the dishwasher and the wife,s garment bag.
I went to get the Sturgeon tackle box ready for Thursdays fishing trip and found that a bottle of shrimp oil had sprung a leak. I cleaned out what I could. Something’s I couldn’t even identify. Anyway everything was soaked and smelled rotten. So I thought, what’s the quickest way to clean all this stuff? Dishwasher! How do I clean these weights and other small items? How about the wife’s mess garment bag?
Just pulled everything out and it worked better that I had hoped.
Now what do I do with the stained garment bag?????
Think she’ll know???

Re: New use for the dishwasher!
Just tell her the cost of a new bag is cheaper than a trip to the tackle store

Re: New use for the dishwasher!
 Don't admit to a thing, deni all accusations!
If found guilty you could be facing honey-do's gallore.
Instead stop at the store and buy her a new one.
Allways be nice to the boat owner

Re: New use for the dishwasher!
Small Fry,
quick, put your boat, truck and all sporting equipment in your brothers name!!!
Hide the garment bag and buy her a new one exactly like that one and make her a shrimp dinner and do the dishes, if she detects that shrimpy smell you just say it must have been from the dinner dishes! This way it will take her the 6 months needed to discover your "dishwasher caper" unless your friends rat you out!
It is so hard to buy back the other half of your stuff in the settlement!!

Re: New use for the dishwasher!
Dishwasher's work great for cleaning smelly jelly, and other gunk off all kinds of things.
You may wanna make it a practice of using it when the wifey is gone however. I know I'd be in deep do do if I got caught. Doesn't stop me tho. It's MY dishwasher too!!

Re: New use for the dishwasher!
I'd be carefull and not put your favorite Steelhead/Salmon plugs in there, they may melt or come out warped due to the drying stage.I had a buddy put his K14 / k 15 / k 16 on the fire place manlte as Christmas decorations. He had a gal friend over for a little
midnight fire woke up in the morning with real limp looking plugs. They looked more like large balloned out mag kwik fish. Not good.
Good luck,

Re: New use for the dishwasher!
Hey, Fry - Throw it in the washing machine with the other dirty stuff and give it a go. If it still carries the scars from the tackle wash, tell her the dog ate it but you tracked him down and retreived it.
She prob'ly won't ask for the particulars!

Re: New use for the dishwasher!
I had to get rid of the dog after it ate her favorite blouse and several other thing's. I don't think she'll buy it.
Just kidding If I had a dog that would work.
I think I'll blame one of the kid's instead.
Thanks for the advice everyone!!!

How wouldja 'splain that smell in the dishwasher!!??
Try Oxi-Clean on the bag in the washer. It really does work!

Re: New use for the dishwasher!
Small Fry, since I'm friends with both of you if she asked me what happened to her dishwasher I couldn't lie. You know I'm a terrible liar. Anyways you can put the boat in my name, and if she asks I'll deny everything honest and when she has forgotten all about it or the smell has worn out of the dishwasher you can have your boat back really. In the meantime why don't you take me out fishing and we can finalize all the details.
