Default Come listen to a famous angler speak

Actually it's just RT! Just kidding. The Sandy River chapter of Northwest Steelheaders are extremely thrilled to play host to our monthly meeting with Steve (Reel Truth) Hanson as our guest speaker. Steve will be talking about putting up eggs and bait techniques and then will be holding a clinic on jig fishing river side just out the door of our meeting place. Bring your license so you can fish during the clinic.
The meeting is this Wednesday, June 5 at 7:30 at the Sam Cox building at Glen Otto park on the Sandy just below Troutdale. The entrance is at Jack's snack and tackle. You can find a map and other information about our chapter at our web page. http://www.sandysteelheaders.org.

And......as a follow up to Eric's Message....

The Tom McCall Chapter of the NW Steelheaders will be featuring Guide David Johnson on Wednesday, June 12th at 11:30 at the Spaghetti Factory in John's Landing. (That's Next Wednesday)

Dave will be discussing several techniques he employs throughout the year for all of the Popular NW Fisheries. Cost is $10 and includes Lunch and Raffle.

Next Month...on July 24th, Gary Loomis will make an appearance to discuss the future of G. Loomis Rods and his Fish First Project. He Too will be bringing a rod or two to raffle off.

So...if you want to get involved with a GREAT organization and "Hang" with some good guys who live, eat, sleep fishing...this is the time to do so. NEVER has it been more importnant to help assist us anglers in keeping our fishing heritage and resources alive. With pending Hatchery closures, river access issues, etc., the NW Steelheaders is the pre-eminent (?) Lobbying Orginization we have.

SO GET INVOLVED NOW!

Thanks for the heads up on this Eric, and for the open invitation to your meeting. It was nice meeting you and some other fisher folks. I hope to see you guys again in the future, it looks like you've got a good bunch of folks in your chapter.

RT did a good job with his talk on curing eggs, lots of good info there. If you're reading this RT, thanks for your info and insight on eggs!

I to would like to thank Steve for his discussion on egg curing at last nights meeting. I learned allot of new information that I can use to improve my own egg curing. It was a pleasure talking with you and Shane afterwards, hope to see you on the river sometime.
