Default This young man knows how to catch fish!

I had the pleasure of Chad and his father Roland visiting from South Carolina in the boat today. Chad said he had his lucky fishing shirt on, and he was correct!!! The young man put on a clinic hooking four, fresh fat springers. The first one had all the fins and was realeased, then he let his dad land a clipped model, then proceeded to hook and land (himself) a couple more nice fatty's! I sure love to see the smile on them young one's faces when they have a great day! Thanks for the great day Roland and Chad!
GO CLEMSON TIGERS!!!

-Marty

So that's why you do what you do, huh? It isn't the long hours or the bed without dinner or tying up rigs with one eye open while the other eye sleeps?

What a great picture! That kid has a lifetime memory. Good work!

You're exactly right! That is my greatest reward of being a guide and doing what I do!

Mark and Dawn and all that made the fin-clipping event... THANK-YOU!!!

I'd like to have been there instead of replacing the tranny in my truck!

Thanks for the pic's!

Its many day's just like this lucky youngster had today that got me hooked on fishing. I was lucky enough to go with my dad on many a charter trip when one of his buddies backed out. I have pictures of 4 fish limits from buoy 10 in the early 70eys and several hali trips when the average fish was 50 lbs. Summer vacations on a BC island and catching everything from Salmon, Lingcod, Sole, red snapper, Dog fish, at age 10 my brother and I could row a mile into the channel and never have to worry about getting back. (Yes dad knew we were safe) We made at least 1 trip per year off the beach at Pacific City on the Dory's, Now that’s a hoot! This is &#8217why I try and take my kids fishing as often I as I can.

This is what makes future fisherman.

I can't wait to take my both of my grand son's on their first trip.

Thanks DAD

Marty, you stud!!!!

Just want to say thanks again for showing my friends from the south a great time. They stopped by the house on their way back to town and Chad was still grinning from ear to ear and razzing his dad about not being able to hook his own fish.

When Roland asked me who he thought would be a good guide to take his son out with I knew Marty would be "da Man"

They were very happy not only with the fishing but also with the company and that says alot about a guy. Thanks again, dude.

Blackdog,

UNBELIEVEABLE! Yes, it was me! My son-in-law is a tech at Holt Toyota, so we had the shop available on Saturday to replace the transmission in the Gone Fishin' Rig! You should have stopped by and said hello. But it will also be fun to meet ya on the Nush!

Rich H,

Thanks again for sending them my way, and thanks for the kind words! YOU DA MAN!

How is this? Better?
The site where the pic is kept might randomly block transfers.

I was at Travis's camp last June 29th. Had a blast!

Is is just my computer or is anyone else having a problem viewing Martys picture?

Marty, Nice picture, kids and big fish make for big smiles.

I would love to go see Travis's camp. I heard he will have his dad Doug cooking again this year. I am not sure if that is good or bad

I am sure you will have fun, I have heard plenty about the camp, and think it would be blast. Good luck.
