Default Willamette River Locks

Anybody ever use the locks at Willamette Falls?

Is it open for private boats?

What is the procedure?

Price?

Have heard that it might be closed for good?

Thanks!!

To the best of my knowledge, the locks ARE open, and yes..to the public. There's a sign giving directions for use at each end. Never been through, or used them myself, tho.

Yah,Tagster---The oc locks are open .We took our boat through a couple years ago and it was pretty neat.
First make sure that you have fenders . The walls in the locks may be the original[over 100 years old]and are pretty scummy, could make a mess out of your boat.
There are no bollards to tie to ,as there is at Bonni, but the lockmaster will throw you a line and you just tend it while going up or down.Pretty easy, just follow their instructions and enjoy.
