Default Who makes alum. seat boxes?

Who makes custom size aluminum dry boxes for seats? I know there was a post a few months ago about this but I can't find it now.

I just had a custom box made for the bow of my sled. I wanted extra storage for the anchor and two batteries up front. I called around quite a bit. What I found is that almost everyone who can weld aluminum will tell you that they can build you a box. Prices are all over the place and I have to assume that the quality is too. I was about to give up the search and just go with Steven's but their price for what I wanted was just too big. After I called them a second time and told them that they had the highest price around, they told me to call Motion Marine. Motion's price was 1/2 of Stevens and the box is stout as heck. Workmanship is good enough and I got to talk to the guy who was going to do the building so we worked out some of the custom details like a hold-down rack for the folding rocker anchor. For what its worth.

Go see Ty Wright, @ Wright Mfg. He has a small shop, but does some really fine work. He is off Johnson Creek Blvd. @ about 72nd. Sorry I don't have his # handy..

I found that almost any one of the boat manufacturers can make a seat box. Check with Alumaweld, Koffler, Motion Marine etc.
