TH Custom Rods
Saw my first TH rod today....pure craftsmanship through and through!! If I didn't have such a great Pro Staff deal on my rods I would be with them after what I saw today.
You guys are putting out an incredible product, Way To Go!! Well Done!!
Jim

Re: TH Custom Rods
Loomis only makes their 1143 in a gl3.
Rainshadow has a blank that is equivelant to a gl4.
So would an 1143 blank from rainshadow be more sensitive than the loomis?
cheaper?

Re: TH Custom Rods
Rainshadow makes an 1143. We are going to stay away from comparing the two blanks. The Rainshadow blank is a mod/fast blank.
Maybe someone here on the board will give us some insight. There a great blank... I would rather fish a Rainshadow than a GL3.. but that is me.

Re: TH Custom Rods
Yes, I have been trying out some new ultalight spinning rods all spring shad fishing.
I have a couple 1 pcs. rods 7' 4-10# and I have a couple 2 pcs. 6'6" 2-8# that I have been trying out.
Let me know exactly what you want.

Re: TH Custom Rods
I had Travis build me a custom rod this season and it is becoming my favorite rod to use. Put the hurt to a bunch of steelies this winter and the rod worked flawlessly. Thanks Travis.

Re: TH Custom Rods
Tell me it was the 1143s, Mark. TH is building one for me right now.
Was your casting rod a 1264c? Or was I seeing things? Who makes that rod?
Thanks Mark and thanks TH in advance for my rod.

Re: TH Custom Rods
The casting rod I had Travis build is rated from 8-17# and is 9 1/2' long. The Rainshadow blank is nice. You'll like it.
