Default Just what to say hello

I am new to ifish, and look forward in being a part of a great fishing board. I fish for sturgeon most of the time. I fish the Columbia river almost every weekend. On friday I was done at IIwaco, we ran up to the bridge and caught a nice hand full of sturgeon, We had our limit in 20 minutes, but stayed up there for a few hours to C&R a few before heading home. It was a great day and beautiful outside as well. Again just wanted to say hello.

Welcome to the board live4fishing. Its a great place to help others and a great place to get help. Sounds like you have the sturgy fishing down pat. Maybe you can tell us how you do it.

Well, I first always never leave home with out sandshrimp. I fish the edge of the drop off that is about the second span out on the washington side, it is about 30 - 35 feet of water. You are going to see the rest area, that is about were I drop anchor, right on the edge. I do petty good on over size there also. I run a blue and silver Northwet jet. I'll be down again for a few more trips. then I go up and fish the big gators for a few weeks.

Anyone who can limit in 20 minutes is worth my time to learn from.

The wife and I are headed to the flats Thursday! We can only hope the weather holds.

Welcome aboard!

Small Fry.
