Default Suttle Lake 5/26

Just getting back from a long weekend over in the Bend/ Redmond area. Fished Suttle Lake last sunday pulling fordfenders with a rubber snubber and wedding ring with a piece of corn. Got on the water around 8:30 in the morning and had 10 kok's in the boat an hour and a half later for one pole. A few of them went close to 16 inches. Had a blast even though there were lots of other boats out I just went where they werent!! Wanted the BIG BROWN didnt get him maybe next time!!! mycatch

I can see why you were wearing sun glasses! Those fish are bright bright bright! Looks like a great time!

Rainrshine,
Did you pull red or green rings? I got a brown on a green last week close to shore. I used corn with anise on slow pass real close to the inlet.

Wow, 15+ inches is big for Suttle. Thanks for the report. I'll have to head over there and give it a try. Always went else where because of the small fish.

SCROD........ I was pulling a red ring with corn that I had soaked in Tuna oil the night before. I was being stubborn and pulled a rapala all day I can only imagine how many we would have ended up with had I been trolling the same thing as my partner
