Another 1st Springer of 04
OK I told my fishing buddy that I wasn't going to put his on the board but, I can't help it. Trolling Herring in MC 1 take down with empty hooks and finally a 17.5 Lb Springer took my herring for a joy ride side ways away from the boat. I couldn't let him do that without the proper punishment. Hooks buried in his mouth, pulled out of the water and "BONK" on the head. First Springer for me in my boat! FINALLY!!!!!

Congrats....the first time is aways special! 
We hooked 2 last Sunday trolling Kwikfish and lost 'em BOTH  .........Maybe I should buy a hook file [img]graemlins/dork.gif[/img]

I've been scounting my springer spot since last November . I tested it in February, and saw a couple roll.
I'm going to try it on Monday, GET THE NET! FIRE UP THE BBQ!
I've got my Marie's Shrimp Scent and Salmon Feast scent ready!
