Default cowlitz smelt report

Met up with FreakWater last night and he shared the drive up with me. Good to meet you and share the netting duties. As for a report, it's still pretty slim. We got some smelt but worked pretty hard. We ended up with 2/3 of a full bucket. Pretty well considering alot of bankie got zipped. We found a deep pocket between some rocks that held some. Many empty dips though. Took about 2 hours to get our catch. We met Born to be Wild,
thanks Dan for the reports and the extra bait, that was very nice of you.

We started at the lower boat ramp, nadda, so we went up river till we found some good water that Dan felt held some fish. He saved the day.
Keep checking for reports, it may still get better.
Good fishing.

I'm going up there this weekend. Two thirds of a bucket is more than enough for me!

It was nice to meet you Brad, though I now have to go buy all my crap back on ebay. Keep up those reports Dan. Your guiding services were greatly appreciated. I agree the dipping was very spotty, but definately the best I've done this year. We seemed to do much better with the lights out.
