Is this a good boat name?
I have been thinking about this for over a year now and havent brought myself to put it on my boat. My friends and I came up with it and its become sort of a joke. What do you think of "The Spawner" ? Everyone I talk to about it just laughs but I cant always tell if thats a good thing  . Input is appreciated, thanks.

Re: Is this a good boat name?
It's a great name. 'Course, Remdrake is a great name too. Come to think of it, Thumper is a cool name also. But it's taken....

Re: Is this a good boat name?
Spawner makes think of a fish you don't really want to touch. A fish you wouldn't EVEN think about keeping, boot, scabback. I like REMDRAKE.
IMO

Re: Is this a good boat name?
If it's an old boat---Go for it! If it's a new boat, probably not a good idea. What do ya fish for the most? Spawners or sea-lice? Food for thought only! Good luck with the name!

It conjours up images of dark, dying fish on the last leg of their journey.

I like it!
It can be thought of many ways if one was so inclined. Kind of like my name.
Don't rush into or anything. Your name on a boat is one of the most important thing you can do to make it yours.

Re: Is this a good boat name?
"spawner" creates images of...............................I think salmon & steelhead in spawning colors are beautiful.... not to be harrassed, but nice to look at. Well, I named my boat "Wreckless" because I wrecked my other one, go for what fits!

If you spent a lot of money on the boat, how about "Spawned Out"?

Re: Is this a good boat name?
I don't think I'd be inclined to anchor closely downriver of that boat.

Re: Is this a good boat name?
To me Spawner makes me think....
.. Its not whats on the outside that's important, it's whats on the inside and it definetly belongs in the water NOT at your home!
Good name and if you like it Go for it!

Re: Is this a good boat name?
Makes me think of the old nook floating down the creak with it's dorsal fin out of the water swimming to it's final destination not even knowing where that is. I think that name is funny, go for it. Nothing like a sence of humor.
