Default Surf Perch ?

I heard a recent report that the surf perch were in good along the coast. Has anyone been or know of any one that has recently?
If so where would be a good place to go?
We were thinking of going over tomorrow.
Thank You
Ron

Fish:
I talked with Kelly Laviolette at Jetty Fishery on the Nehalem the other day and he said that the perch had moved into the bay. If they are here then they should be in all the bays. It is a matter of looking and finding. But, now is the time.
Nothing tastes better.

Because I hate to edit posts I will make this an add on.
When I was talking with Kelly, a gray whale was heading up the river from the jaws to Brighton. It was fun to watch. It rolled and blew, it never breached when I was there but the Portland News channel showed up and it was time to leave.
Kelly offerd me a spot in the boat for the filming but it is hard to explain to everyone why they saw me on the news when I am supposed to be working.
