We did really well out of Garibaldi last weekend and that was with a fair amount of fresh water hitting the bay. It should only be better this weekend. I saw a banner announcing the crab races in Garibaldi, so if you go you should have plenty of company. RodRoss

Sirfishalot:

I was out on the bay this past Monday and 2 of us worked for 20 keepers over 2.5 hours. The crab that we got were all in great shape. Take plenty of bait as there were several just shorts that tore up the bait.

Rodross doesn't have a clue. So, take what he says with a grain of salt.

Come, come now young Redfish 89. If you had only tasted the sweet flesh of those 43 crabs we culled from the waters of Tillamook Bay, then you would believe. You focus too heavily on salmos that must be released instead of channeling your efforts towards edible endeavors. This does not please your better half as she believes you do not even go fishing, but rather partake in the consumption of to many malted beverages instead. See you tomorrow evening. By the way, Crab Harbor with shad for bait is the ticket. RodRoss
