Default DING **** THE SKUNK IS GONE!!!!

Yes it's true, I finally with some good eggs put my very own limit of springers in the boat.
Last night after David J put a clinic right next to me and even snickered  every time he came back to the hole I felt it was a bait issue.
This morning by 7:00 am it was a time for me to get some RESPECT back after being beat on by all my fellow I-fishers friends all I have to say is Have a great day and a safe weekend!

Way to go ! Nothing like a limit to make a day or week, no make that a month.

They were most likely up by the falls, I think, bobber fishing. Last night mine came on a diver set up,and I was waaaaay below the falls in about 10' of water.

Amerman Eggs for me  Thanks Scott & Co.

Good luck,

Chris

Ok it's my turn to say it, well I'm not sure ok those are 2 nice fish  .I knew that if enough people were praying for you Rod that you would catch a Springer. However did you have to catch 2 in one morning? Now you are one up on me, not one fish but the catching 2 in one day. Looking forword to fishing tomorrow I will see you in the AM. Great job on the catching the fish  .

Well done old boy. I thought I smelled fish in the neighborhood. Just didn't knkow it was you or I would have come over for a slab. I will hit it pretty hard for a couple days off and see if I can snag one of those critters. IF not, i'm back to summer steelhead fishing.

Rod, nice fish, you deserve it. At least you post proof of the conquest, something Catch and Eat never seems to have. Oh that's right you have to CATCH them to take a picture of 'em .

I am sitting in Billings Montana right now, and am comforted with the fact that I have the same chance of catching a springer this weekend as Bernie....none.

FM2, did you digitally enhance the size of the fish? BOE, look and learn. I am proud of ya Rod. Ya stuck to it and "DING" you scored. Only what.....900hours of fishing this spring. God felt sorry for ya today. Either that or the fish had a death wish. Congrats Bro

Thanks you guys for all the support, the way you all talk you would thought I've never caught a springer all my life
As for David Johnson if I would have seen you coming I would had picked up and moved  ( nobody take this the wrong way. After fishing next to DJ we have found out I am his good luck charm ) every time I seem to be some where the fish are not on the bite then DJ shows up and proves me wrong. So I figure I'm his good luck charm. P.S. Dave you still owe me a quart of eggs, if I had'nt been out there the other night you would'nd of had such a great day>

Yaah, Wishin Eddie can't catch his own fish in his own boat. It's the pancake batter thing. And as far as catching any springers, well Rod..aaaaaaaa....what is that three total this year? One early springer and then pure frustration watching everyone catching fish in YOUR boat. Then one of your good buddies takes you out in his boat, coaches you on backbouncing tactics, puts your right over fish that are jumping all around the boat (darn near jumping into the boat) and you somehow manage to get two fish. This story deserves some investigation.

On a more serious subject. Texas Rig could use some net training from what I hear. First a guy is darn near springer-less and then he accidently hooks a fish only to have a good buddy like TR try to knock it off with the net? Man Rod would have needed counceling Billy if that fish had been knocked off.

As for Spoofed sitting on the back porch of his mother-in-laws house drinking lemonaid and eating crackers. At least we are not suffering from head tramma cause by a rolling pin wacking you head from side to side. Puhhhhh.... Talk about watching paint dry. Mother in laws house.....boring!!!!

Snapshot........you sound like you have lost hope dude. Chin up and eat veggies. At least you can go and pick them.

THANKS Bernie, I do like the summer fish best of all as I seem to have better luck than with springers. Springers involve time and I really don't have much of that as I drive to far to and from work each day. As far as the veges, I seem to watch them grow a lot
