Default Coastal Springer Report

Fishing is JUST now starting to get good. Believe it or not a bobber set up with our Sand Shrimp was the ticket this morning in tide-water on the Trask River.

Pictured is Famous John Cook from Idaville, Oregon ,( a stones throw from the Kilchis River.)

Mr Cook was fishing the tide water from the 5th street boat launch, thursday morning when he landed two nice nooks.
He was fishing the two-bit-hole. One was a hen and the other a buck.

He was using a Lamiglass 9 foot rod with a Abu Garcia reel, 30 # leader.

He caught 5 natives last week and one was a 40 pounder.(not pictured) of course.

In the picture the one on the left was a 20 pounder(35 incher) and the smaller one was a 11 pounder( 27 incher.)

He was using a bobber set up with TBC Sand Shrimp!

Ya whats up with that Rick?? If you give John Cook permission to fish in your hole, next thing you know everybody will be wanting to fish in your hole.

Rick, if I ask real nice can I get permission to go fish your hole? I promise not to tie up to the brush, I hear it is private property.

I'm thinking of heading your way soon. I just ran out of THE spray  and with the springers peaking around here, that is not a good thing. AGGGGHHHHH .

See you soon,

Chris
