Default South Jetty on the Columbia

I was thinking of taking a couple of kids on the South jetty to try and catch some rockfish. Does anyone have the skinny-- baits, ocean-side or river-side, at slack tide?, too dangerous for kids? Help! [img]graemlins/1zhelp.gif[/img]
