My Daughters Roommate: Cancer
Would appreciate it if you would remember my daughter's roommate. She just found out that she has stage two breat cancer at age 22.
She called us last night to let us know the roomies situation and it is not very good. She is very sick after her first Chemo treatment. Not sure why her roomie is doing this but she does not want to tell her parents. She wants to stay in school while getting the chemo. I don't agree with not telling the parents but theres s not much I can say on this one.
Keep this young lady in your prayers and my daughter too. I have a feeling things are gonna get really tough for a while.

Re: My Daughters Roommate: Cancer
That is very sad. Definitely say a prayer or two for her.
Sometimes there are reasons family's do what they do, just have to respect her wishes.

Will pray, maybe she will listen to you Bernie. Sometimes kids will listen to other respected adults. Worth a try.

Re: My Daughters Roommate: Cancer
Here is an update on my daughters roommate. She was misdiagnosed and put through a chemo treatment for Breast Cancer. Thank God it is not cancer but she does have an extremely vicious infection in her breasts and it is still a serious matter. No matter what she will have an extended recovery time ahead to cure this infection. But man what a horrible scare and I do believe that prayers from folks do change the outcome of Doctors best guesses. Thank you for your prayers.

Oh, man. I can't imagine! Wish I could talk with her.
I'll pray for her.
