Default My First Springer of 2004 part deux... pics!

I love that first springer of the year, what a magical transition from the cold of winter to the eternal hope of spring! And this magic trick aint bad either....

This...

Turns....

Into....

THIS....

Now hope springs eternal in my fat springer filled belly

Made it on the BBQ, wanted to plank it but I didn not have a plank long enough so placed it on tinfoil and threw some alder chips for some smoke. A little dill, onion salt, fresh cracked pepper, grilled veggies and wild rice with apples and pine nuts

Too stuffed, must

Shane, that's cruel and unusual punishment. Next time, bring enough to share with the class. Looks pretty tasty, I'm going to have to get out and get me one of those SOON. Thanks for the pic.

You mean you didn't spice that meat up with Carrot Juice?? Joke, anyhow that's some of the best looking springer off the barby I've seen. You mind if I come over for dinner one of these times, I'll bring my own springer....

I can cook but that looks like it came off a Martha Stewart show...

stlhdr1 I think it is important for the food to look good as well as taste good. Smell, taste and sight all contribute to a great dining experience!
