Default Ridgefield boat ramp

The Port of Ridgefield is upgrading their docks this year. They removed 2/3 of the launching dock and all of the floating dock about three weeks ago. Now it is very difficult to launch with any speed at all. It took me 40 minutes to get in the water on Tuesday and there were only 2 boats ahead of me. I phoned the Port about the problem and got a snotty answer saying that the ramp will not be fixed until late April and sometime around mid-April it will be totally closed for about 9 days. Happy fishing.

IMO, the City's fee to use their launch is way more than I am comfortable paying. At least on the Washington side of the Columbia, there are other launches that are good quality and free.
Since our taxes or fees paid for them and maintain them, I'll keep using those.
