Report as of 10am today, the Get Bent Tackle boat has one in the fishbox that was caught around 8:45 and another one missed. Prawn spinners were the trick there. Two more have been caught on the inside in one boat, but otherwise that's it for the Garbage Hole.

A lot of boats have been moving up from downriver so it looks like the great migration to find the fish has begun.

Way to go Rod, do you have room for another first timer that eats bananas? Maybe a little crow once in a while. I'm still looking for that first springer to bonk. I think I work to much. Every time I have time to go, no one wants to go for a few hours. I won't go alone as I don'want to have problems working the boat, rod and net and dodge anchor ropes all at the same time.

As of 5:oo pm the Fishing Eddie boat still had the one fish. Rod told me that they skipped the eggs this morning, this was not his choice. We all know that you can't skip the eggs when you are cooking up a boaters breakfast  .
Rod my friend come on and admit it, you are going to have to take a hand off from someone  . Please let me be the one I won't tell anyone . Maybe one of my kids can hook one for you or you can let them take over the cooking when you see their rod go down. Your time will come, I just don't know when.

Fished til 5:45 yesterday total tally 1 keeper, 1 hard take down on a fickle pickle, 1 more take on bait but no hook up he pulled the trigger to soon had a great time with some very long time friends and father- and-law, had some people in the boat next to us help with the old fish!fish! fish! routine   I love that one.
Next trip I'm going with french toast, and bacon, not that I'm trying to  any of you. fishalot that's cute take a fish from your boy's yhea like that would ever happen that's OK you guys can all give me a bunch of guff but I think you : all have caught fish in my boat
Todays my wife's birthday, tried the lets spend a nice afternoon out on the river for a quite boat ride, I'll even cook, she didn't think I even knew what the word cook meant let alone I could do that, told her we could have shrimp kbobs,I don't think she would notice if we came up one short? Wake up Rod you are dreaming? So maybe I wouldn't be on the river tonight. Have a great wife wouldn't trade her for a season of bent rods. Good luck to all this weekend. will be back out there next week Lord willing.

Good job Rod, I've tried taking my wife for an evening of romantic fishing too. Just does'nt work, in fact, I can't even finish a sentence before she is saying no. She gives me plenty of other oppertunities to go anyway. Keep puttin in your time at those chromers, it will happen. In the mean time, have a blessed time with your wife on her birthday. Remember, you can go fishin on your birthday .

Don't be :depressed: Rod we all know you can catch fish, at least that is what you tell me in all the stories. When it comes to getting people into fish you are for sure the MAN. How many did you get MOFISH into now, was it 2 or 3? Have a nice time with your wife today and God bless you both  . Also next time we fish and if you cook can you please ware you big white chef hat.

Hi, Rod:

I really feel sorry for you, having to take all that guff from everybody about your inability to put fish in the boat. Now you know I would never do that. I suppose the other folks in the boat had a lot of bites, but did they realize that all those rod bounces were you sneaking up and pulling on their lines. I know, you just want to keep everyone attentive to their fishing. It's too bad the fire has gone out but maybe you can keep a pilot light burning and the fire will come back another day.

Tell your better half Happy Birthday from Bobbie and I both and have a really good birthday party for her, even if you can't fix her any salmon. By the way, I think Albertson's has salmon on sale this week.

Take care. See you Sunday.

I like this Spook already, Rod have you been pulling on your fishing buddies lines again . I know you like to pull mine because you know I will   every time. You might want to rig up for Shad next time out that way you won't lose your fish fighting skills . I will save some of my next fish for you. You take care and don't sleep in to long tomorrow.

I wanted to fish on my birthday, but my husband decided that I needed a nice Hotel room and a jacousie, with a drive up to the mountain, and over to Hood River and back. What a beautiful day. I just wish I could have gone fishing.
