You should Get about 2.5 mpg with the outboard,You will have more fishing room tith the O/B unless the I/B is under the floor like the Sea Sports. Just My $0.02....Ross

Great Poll. The majority is reccomending the outboard for fishability, which is understandable. Do most people really understand how expensive a 225 four stroke or two stroke outboard is. You can almost buy 2 inboards for the cost of one those outboards with a jet. I own a 200 carb outboard jet with tiller that was roughly $12000.00. Depending on budget what you want and can afford are more than likely two different pieces of equipment. My thoughts on this anyway...
