I'll tell you what it means....Drop yer trap at your local Safewy store, with any luck the price will be so low you won't be able to go get them yourself !
I found that you only need about ten feet of line to hurl your trap over the counter, and there is usually not much of a wait till you can pull it back in. Good luck and be carefull in the parking lot, it can get rough out there.

Perhaps a collapse of crab populations for a few years. It seems to me crabbers were singing the blues a few years back when they had a poor season on the heels of a bumper crop season. I might be wrong (it's happened a time or two!) but enjoy the crab you have, it may be a while before we have another excellent season like we had last year, I hope I'm fulla BS on that prediction.
