Utility trailer, FREE with conditions, Hsbo area
I have a utility trailer that I built about 20 yrs ago that needs some work, so here is the deal.
I will sell it or most of it to someone that lives within 20 or so minutes from me ( Bookwood School area of Hillsboro) on the condition that you put new tires, bearings and seals on it. I just do not trust it any more.
This trailer has hauled dozens of cords of wood and untold loads of camping equipement and bikes to the coast over the years, but now sits unused and untrusted.
The bed is 2 X 6's and I replaced about half of them a few years ago. I built the frame around some leaf springs and an axel from a wrecked boat trailer, solid frame, just need maintenance and use.
The deal is, I want the ability to use this trailer 1-2X per year and can easily store it for you if you want. I have lots of storage room now that my RV is gone.
So, buy this solid trailer, put new bearings and tires on it, use it and if I need it I will call and make arraingments to come pick it up form you or if you want me to store it you just come get it anytime you need it, Will be behind an unlocked gate and I do not need to be here for you to come and go.
Hitch is 1 7/8 ball
OK.... Thats the deal.................. Any takers?

PM's returned.
Still looking for someone close to Hillsboro if possible.
This trailer has hauled many fridges, w&D, etc as wll as many many loads of firewood and barkdust.
I have the back piece to close it off.
Just needs some TLC

Re: Utility trailer, $50 with conditions, Hsbo area
So, Wiser sent me the following PM:
Just a thought. Let the trailer go without conditions. There are plenty of ifishers who would lend you a trailer here and there.
That would help both you and the buyer, I think.
So seeing as how this came from " Wiser' think I will take his advice and offer the trailer for free. No conditions
Hopefully you will put new tires and bearings on it and get years and years of use out of it and at some point pass something forward. And if I need to borrow it in a year or two you will lend it to me...........
So, will make a post to the passing it forward thread.............which by the way I started a few years ago..... talk about full circle.
Thanks Wiser, you just made me a better person, and at my age, that not easy...........

Nice gesture. I have a utility trailer that doesn't get enough use; let me know when you need to borrow it. Located off Hwy 26 near the zoo.
