Fished Puget Island last two days, 3 keepers yesterday for two rods, 2 keepers today for three rods, with the counts over Bonneville dropping steadily, surprised the bite was as good.Interesting note, at almost slack today, had the quickfish almost straight down below the boat lazily working off the bottom, remarked to my buddies, will get real interesting if a nookie grabs on. Five minutes later, tug, tug, pole buried. 16 pounds of fish in the box. Enough of these salmonoids, next trip Astoria Sturgeon!!
