Hit the south river. Anywhere between lebanon dam and the hatchery. The springers are kegged up at the dam and the summer steelhead are all over the place. We've been catching them from waterloo on up, with best results from wily creek to the church hole. Hope this helps.

Hey Evan, I was planning to give it a shot on Sat. Let us know how you do. The word that I am hearing is to go to the south fork, but I wont be able to do that. I am pretty much stuck on the North fork due to family commitments...

Good luck

The south has been slow also, and as an added bonus there have been many boats.

I second jay's post. The south isn't what you'd call "hot" right now by any stretch of the imagination, you wouldn't know it by looking at all the trailors up at foster though (weekdays included unfortunately).

Grant,

I hit the drifted the N. Fork from Green's bridge a couple times last week, like you said it was real slow (unless you count a 3lb chub). I'm on Ifish now, send me an email sometime.

I fished the South today and got one Native. Saw 15+ fish landed at Lebanon thru out the day. The bite really heated up once the sun came out. Looked like 3-4 Drift boots anchored up below were doing well also. I was bobber fishing with Egs and Sandshrimp.

hello all you ifishers. i'm a new member and i thought it would be fitting for me to respond to this one, being that this is my favorite river. the fishing hasn't been hot, but fish are being caught. last time i went down the river, 4/27, we went 2 for 3 on steelies, including one 15 lb. summer . tossing spoons. seen a few others caught and heard of a few more since then. stayton to shelburn drift. just thought i'd share...

The fishing on both forks is far from hot. The south up high is a ******** zoo with all the boats. I floated it last tuesday and fought with 15 other boats for 2 hook ups. Im beginning to wonder if everyone that fishes is laid off.

The fishing will pick up once the Army Corp Of Idiots quits F%*#@%! with the water levels.

For now Im targeting springers before the hordes of other anglers show up Its nice to have access to private launches down river of everyone else

Yeah, the South has really been slow with lots of pressure at least around Foster. Drifted yesterday and picked up one nice summer, but had to really work for that one. Kind of disapointing.
