2006 Ford Escape 4x4 with Low Miles

I thought I would put this on ifish before it hits CL. I can forward pictures tonight upon request but don't have them in my possesion.

I'm putting up for sale my 2006 Ford Escape XLT in burgundy that has four wheel drive, Automatic, Sunroof, Power options including power driver seat. Cloth grey interior and six disk cd player. It has a rear hitch as well with 4 pin wiring.

My Escape just hit 40,000 miles as of today and has been taken care of. It does have the normal nicks you would expect from a four year old car but nother major and still looks great. Just want to be honest. The only thing the car needs at this time is the automatic transmission fluid changed. I haven't been able to get this done to date and know it cost between $100 and $150. I will try to get this done before the new purchaser picks up the car.

The reason for sale is an opportunity to step into a crew cab truck as I have wanted one for many years but always has been out of my reach.

The car has a clean title in hand and I will only accept a cash offer or would have to verify funds if check is accepted. I will also work with your bank if you need to finance.

I'm asking $14,750 to start with a little wiggle room but not much. If I can't get what I need out of the car I will keep it. It's been great to me and have no reason to give it away. This price is based on 60,000 miles so you are ball park but no means would this be considered an excellent deal. And Kelly Blue book most likely does not take into consideration the local economy. My two cents....

I dont know what hillbilly was doing on KBB but retail value is much more than what he says. Private party is in the $15000 range. Your price is fair.

I used to own a 2008 4x4 hybrid. The Escapes are surprisingly roomy for big guys like myself. Very comfortable to ride in. I'd still own mine, but I traded it in for a new boat.
