Default Hagg lake report

Took my little sister to hagg lake on tuesday. We fished a couple spots but we didnt catch anything we only had a couple bites. I am taking back out there today and would really like to get her to catch some fish anybody have any suggestions on what place we should fish and what bait would work the best. Thanks.

Fishon, I fished out there over the weekend and did pretty good on trolling gear followed by a wedding ring and half a worm . I put in at boat ramp a and trolled to the right and back. Good Luck.

Try on the far side of the lake at boat ramp C. The beach area about half way in between the ramp and the big pier is a good place if you don't have a boat.

Happy fishing. It is great you do stuff with your sister.

I have done best in the spring trolling a Ford Fender with just about any miniature spinner behind it. I always troll in a "S" pattern when fishing for trout there, seems to work well for Hagg Lake.

Trolling the mouth of the bay on the far side of the lake with lake troll and wedding ring have been most productive for me.

Small mouth can also be caught using power bait in this area.

Fish the shorelines either north or south of Boat Ramp C. Ford Fenders with small Flatfish fished very slow.

If you are bank fishing, I have seen people get good results at the end of the old Scoggins Valley Road. It is the nex road to the left past the road across the dam. Walk down to the end of the pavement and fish off of the bottom with worns, power bait or both. I troll with a wedding ring and worm or power bait.
