This spring my 11 year old daughter talked me into a couple of Nubian/Boer cross goats (Wethers). They were bottle fed babies and are super tame. They follow us around like puppy dogs and do great job of keeping the brush and blackberry bushes trimmed down around our place. They are about 80-90 lbs now and we are hoping to move them down the road soon. My daughter asked that I try and sell them to someone who wants to keep them alive and let them eat brush or keep them as pets/pack goats or whatever first before we haul them to the auction or sell them as meat.
She is just trying to get back some of what we have dumped into them. The milk we bottle fed them was pretty spendy and vaccinations and worming. They have also been grain fed a long with her other goats that were her 4-H projects. We are hoping to get around $125 each.
