I wouldn't call it hot, far from it. Checked Tanner twice today, slow for most, including most of the regulars. I fished Bradford and that was slow also, except for the two next to us. They had 4 of the 8 that I saw kept for the morning. About 100 rods. Few have all of the luck, most have none.

Tanner Creek is the Bonneville hatchery creek...Oregon side, just below the damn and acessed from the dam entrance.

You could use a drift boat with enough motor there, but I was out this morning in my boat and it was for sh*t.... fast dirty water and high wind by 9am. Bank fishing is far better there than it is from a boat right now. The fish are staying shallow and very close to shore due to the fast moving water.

The majority of folks fishing Tanner are just using a #2 spin-n-glo and a 2/0 hook, lead on a dropper line or on the main line, as a slider.
The best colors seem to be rainbow, solid green, and watermellon all with mylar wings. No bait.
Dont have to cast out very far eiter. Need about 5 ounces of lead to hold.
Had a blast there catching fish earlier in the season too. Good luck! Im going tomorrow!!!
