Somehow in my fishing expedition late this afternoon I manage to go one for two take downs. Put a nice 15lb springer of the hatchery variety in the boat at about 7pm tonight. :grin:

Saw a nice little push for about 20minutes and that was it. Enjoyable afternoon and good people to fish around.

Fickled Pickle K 14 with sardine wrap. The rest is a big fat secret.

Tight lines and good fishing. :grin:

Okay, I hereby publicly admit I wiffed a fish while on the phone egging on Uncle Bob. Of course the egging was well deserved because three boats went down from all around him while he sat there by himself :shocked: At least I recovered. :grin:

The important thing here is "I got one anyway" :tongue: Te he he he. :grin:

I found the real secret for springers last night at Coon island. Caught a 28lber. while shad fishing with a small Dick nite spoon. (while casting and retreiving) :smile:

Thanks ****** and Fishing Freak. Shad fishing is usually the best way to pick up a chinook from my observations. :grin: Although I have never caught one using this technique.

Rick, I ran into Mark at BC Angler on Monday. He said it was a great time at your secret area. Pretty cool! :grin:
