Announcement for Public Open Houses on Marine Protected Areas Oregon Ocean Policy Advisory Council

For more than a year, the Oregon Ocean Policy Advisory Council has assessed the issue of marine protected areas in order to prepare a report and policy recommendations to the Governor by the end of August, 2002. T he Council has arrived at a preliminary recommendation and would like comments and advice from the public before preparing the final recommendation for the Governor. So, the Council has scheduled a series of Open Houses to explain the draft proposal and to get public reaction.
