Default OC Fishing Report/Pic

Well i finially got the skunk out of my new boat!! I put a post out yesterday for two open seats in Oregon City. Took out my dad and met up with Ifish member Fishstalker. Achored up next to a friend in the sand bar. Put on a sand shrimp with a small spin-n-glow. After about five minutes noticed my rod burried. Fish on!! After a few (or more) good runs got it up to the boat and noticed the high fin. But what a fight. Made the hands shake for a while. The picture was taken quick and the fish was only just barely out of the water line for only a few seconds. Hooked in the side of the mouth and released unharmed. Thanks alot for fishing with me Fishstalker. Looking forward to a trip with you in your new North River in the Channel!! Lets do it again!! Between the lake line there was about 15 fish caught. 12 in the morning. the water looks great. web page

Cheeseburger- Great meeting you and your father, and thanks for the ride . Waiting for the new boat and watching all these Springers being caught was giving me the shakes. Congrats on your first Springer of '04 . Way to break in your new boat. Just got the call that mine will be done tomorrow afternoon, so I will be in touch in the next couple weeks to return the favor. Thanks again.

Cant wait fishstalker. I have always wanted to go out in a North River! Oh and illbfish--i got there at around 2:00. Caught that one shortly after. And just a note. I read the post about showing pics of native springers. That fish was not taken out of the water only part way as you can see in the pic. But to save the worry i wont post anymore pics like this if it offended anyone. Its legal to use a net on a native fish, just not to take them completely out of the water.
