Last Sunday the crabbing in Tillamook Bay was slow. We got about 18 crabs for 6 pots and I think we did better than most. the keepers were good sized and very firm so it was worth the trip.

Regards,

Mark

We crabbed T-bay on tuesday and only got 2 for our traps. One other boat got 8 for 5 hours of work. The crabs are good though with nice hard shells and lots of meat. Don't know why the crabbing been so slow.

Good luck,
Andy

I crabbed the ocean south of Geribaldi yesterday...very dissapointing...lots of shorts, only one keeper. Maybe the bay is better, but I sure didn't see a lot of traps out there. Sorry.

I'm headed for Newport to give'er a try in the morning. The tides are backwards but very little change. Should anyone end up down there look me up. 19ft Maxweld Ranger, green top, crab davit.

We picked up 8 large, fat crabs offshore, in 35 feet of water, north of Nehalam Jetty. We did only one pull, after a day of bottom fishing. Very few females, or smaller crabs were found in our traps... Craig
