I ran the DB through there yesterday, saw one guy walking out with a very colorful buck, two guys at the back eddie with nuttin'.
It all looked pretty clear of debris to me. I spent a few hours in the tailout with no success and then puttered down to do my pre-season scout of the minefield. Good thing I did, had to pull some big branches off the little left bank slot that I like to squeeze through, No, NOT the back channel

If anyone else likes to run that side there is still an overhanging pair of good sized limbs near the left side, right after the first drop but it didn't really get in my way yesterday. I'll probably take a saw with me next time to keep it from causing anyone grief in the future.
I watched a pair of guys go down through there without PFD's and was thinking to myself as I watched the route they took,"Hmm, Never seen anyone take that way before, maybe I'll learn something..."
WHAM!!!!! Their DB looked like it was standing on end and then it went sideways spun wildy out the bottom end.
Talked to them later and the oarsman was still shaken up, he was sure the boat was going to flip.
Those guys ended up saving my rear beacuse I got my poor shuttle gals mixed up and they put me at lower ramp and I went to Feldheimer. "Dude, where's my truck???" They gave me a ride back to my rig and saved me a looong walk.
ALL MY fault btw, not Cheryl or Terri's.
Anyhoo, neither boat hooked up unless the up-river yeller belly I caught counts....
Fish was secondary yesterday though, the solitude and quality time on the sticks was what I needed in a bad way.
