Default wazzup with the hotamale outdoor show?

not sure if this fits the criteria for this board but...........

is scott's new show still in the works?

I hope I'm not missing it. I used to enjoy the hot tamale show (though I caught it towards the end)

us nw fisherman don't get a chance to see our rivers and our fisherman on tv much. those espn "billy bob" shows kill me.

I sure hope that Scott is still planning to do his show. Except on the North Fork Lewis. Noop! No way!

Driftphish...

I guess I should chime in and let all of you know what I've been up to lately.

First off, it's been tough securing sponsors for the show... We have a nice "pilot" that we've shown several potential clients and DO have a few committments, but not enough to secure the air time necessary. We are in the process of editing 3 shows we videotaped with Travis at his camp on the Nushagak. I hope to have one of these shows available for Travis to hand out at the Sportman's Show.

We also have several shows taped with guys like Dave Johnson, Steve Fleming, Jack Glass, Chris Vertopoulos, Sean Johnson, Trevor Storlie and the Women in Waders, Grant Scheele, the Olex and Mayville Flat Preserves, and so on that are "in-progress" but I'm am having some "issues" with the guy who does my video editing. I am exploring other options NOW, so that I can get these shows on the air sooner rather than later. It's gonna happen!!

I haven't paid much attention to the website since I have a new site that apparently is coming on-line anyday. When it does, I'll let you know.

There is alot happening..and I can go on forever with the details but the bottom line is that we are still alive and kicking. I too agree that a show, similar to the one we had going for over 3 years, is something we all would all like to see again. No matter how bad it might have been...it was still fun to watch!

More to follow...

Scott

PS...the new site will be under nwoutdoortv.com

As you know Scott I'm sick of watching Courtney and Shelly, Columbia Country and Bill Dance(I don't even Bass Fish for cryin out loud) What I really miss is Writing my charts while sitting at the desk watching old reruns on your web site.
Can't Hold On Much Longer.

Get Bent....

Contrary to what you may have heard, NO..we do not intend to do any water skiing segments under the new format...although I know that's what you've been hoping for. My SLED cannot accomodate pulling a barefooter since the trolling motor gets in the way of the harness. If I do cover water skiing, I'll get you..and your ski boat, to assist. (This is an inside joke)

Reno...No, OLN is just too expensive at this time. We proposed having the show air on UPN which had given us the green light.

Fire...I agree. Those other shows are at times, challenging to watch!

This may belong on its own thread, but isn't Shelly & Courtney one of the hardest fishing shows on earth to sit through? Painful even.

If you are having editing problems, I know a company in nw portland that kicks butt. The name is Odyssey production Inc. Also, i am not affiliated with this company. I heard word of it from ODFW.
Good luck

Scott, I too really like your show. The local flavor was great. And dispite what they think in the midwest and down south there are other fish besides bass.
