Tex,
I fished Brownlee on Saturday. Crappie are hitting yellow and chartreuse curlytails.
The Mountain Man Lodge used to rent houseboats, but they are out of business. You can buy the place cheap I hear!!!

My nephew got one nice bass, 15" long, but other than that the smallies were all dinks. His buddy got a 24" cat on a piece of cutbait(crappie) . Look for water that is at least 58 degrees. I suggest fishing higher up toward Huntington. One of my friends fished 5 miles farther down than we did, and had a tough weekend, 8 crappie in 2 days.

Message me if you need any more info.

No Crappie reports from Fishalot  however I will give you a report on how I did on the lower Willamette. My two boys and I put in at 1:30 and with in 1 hr Landed a 13.5 Hen, she clobered a home made rainbow spinner. She made 3 long runs and a few leaps  boy did she try to shake that hook out.My boys did not want any part of that rod the older one did a good job of netting the fish, we went home happy at 4:30    .
