How long a life can one expect on a motor like that? At lower pressure, say 3K miles?

As long as it is maintained and not constantly beat up on, it will go as long as anything else. Probably wouldn't hurt to put it on the dyno every once in a while and make sure nothing is out of wack.

whats the quarter mile time on that beast

Only ran it on stock suspention and street tires.... ran 14.0@120mph. Should easily run 12's.
