Default Looking for pontoon buddy(s) for this Sat.

I'm thinking of taking my pontoon down a Willamette trib Saturday and would like some company. Anybody want to come along? Pontoon flotilla?

Otolith - Sounds like fun. Unfortunately, no can do this weekend. Saw you on the Wilson a few weeks ago... I was with Kodiakfisher. Count me in for a toon trip in a month or two when the river is low for a db. lnf

Unless some springers snuck over Willamette Falls while the counting guy was on a pee break, we would most likely be fishing for native steelies.

I mostly want to try my pontoon on moving water for the first time, and to explore some new water.

Otolith, Sounds like a good time. I would love to join you but I have to work. Toonin is a blast for steelies. I always have had to get out and fish. I'd like to try more plugin or back bouncing. Let us know how you do. You never know what you'll run into as those fish counters can take some loooooong pee breaks!
Be careful dude.

I may be interested. I have not had my rig out this year. I have a 2 man Sotar 12.5' that needs to get some fish smell on it! Which trib? N. Santiam perhaps?

Otolith,

I am still interested in trying to land a steelie, let me know if you still got that open seat. Thank you very much.
Tight lines, Dylan

Rhansme, sent you a PM. I'm thinking Molalla, from the pole slide to wagon wheel.

Zodiak -- I've just got the one pontoon, so not really an open seat offer as much as a BYOP (bring your own pontoon). Since Rhansme has a two man toon, maybe you could ride with him.

Judy and Zodiak -- I have a driftboat too, so if this pontoon flotilla thing doesn't work, maybe I will punt on that and put you both in the front of my boat for a Wilson trip. Stay tuned this afternoon for updates....
