Default Snake River Questions

I noticed the WDFW opened the snake from the Southway Bridge to the Heller Bar Boat Ramp. It looks like my wife and I will Be able to scare up some time off to fish it. My first question is how technical is the water in this area??? Shallow is no big deal, but do I need to know the line through bottom ripper rocks. Secondly where are good places to park the camper in the area.

Thanks

P.S. If the ride is real scarry a show and tell will result in bribes.

Lots of water there and not hard to read at all.

The parking lot at Heller will handle Many...Many Campers and Motor homes......I don't think there are any hookups....No problem finding a place to park and the scenery is awsome.

I hope the fish show up for you!!!!

A great adventure to go there!

Bill

I was thinking of staying down in lewiston and running up a ways, perhaps not all the way to heller bar but up a ways.

Thanks for this info

Better wait a while. The season may be open, but there aren't any fish there. Look at Lower Granite dam's fish count...
