Default Ever have one of those days...

... where folks were limiting left and right, doubles and triples up and down the beach, bells going off every few minutes, hootin and hollerin, ppl complaining about the 10th native they've released... and yet the rod right in front of you does nothing all day long?

Well, needless to say, that was me today. I must have watched 100 fish get landed or released at SS beach. The most action I got was a pathetic tap which was probably just a stick hitting my line.

*sigh* maybe tomorrow will be better...

All things being equal, they almost never are....some are more equal than others.

Closely examine the rigs that are catching fish. Length of cast, leader length, dropper length, color, size and scent not necessarily in that order.

If your gear is "equal" then it can only be one thing. Bad juju.

You need a trip to the MADWIZARD for a new juju injection!

I fished SS beach today too. I caught a nice 15 pound springer. Lots of fish were caught today some wild ones too. The guy I was fishing next to hooked a real big springer that he faught for a while but his hook bent and came out of the fishes mouth. Matt where on SS beach are you fishing?

Fishon,

I was fishing about 10 yards north of that old boat hull on the north end of the beach.

Just one of those days is all .
