lots of prayers and positive thoughts for baby Andi
Well, I don't post here much, but I felt I needed some extra help here.
Close friends of ours gave birth to a little girl a few nights ago, and Andi was quickly diagnosed with Charges Syndrome. Absolutely devastating to the parents, and all of us who care deeply for them. They are a wonderful couple who are so deserving of a child. Andi 's condition is very serious with many abnormalities that, some will be addressed with surgeries, some cannot we are afraid. She underwent surgery at the age of 1 day already. To think that a newborn has to go through the trauma of surgeries, and many more in the coming months and years is so tough.
The incredible uphill journey our friends are on now is just as heartbreaking.
I have to say, there has NEVER been a time when I am more thankful and blessed to have a healthy and safe child. As parents, we should all be so greatful. Birth defects happen, sometimes close to home. Please keep Andi, and her mom and dad Ana and Cory in your thoughts and prayers. They all need all they can get right now.
Miracles happen, prayers are answered, and we all hope that Andi will make it though this and grow up to be a happy and healthy little girl.
